San Diego – Strange fume event occuring in southern California – Aug 18, 2011

First a fresh lava field erupts off the coast of Oregon, then mystery plumes erupt from lava fields all the way up the west coast from Pisgah area north to the washington state line… a 6.0 magnitude quake hits Baja California, then a hill side in Santa Barbara (just north of Los Angeles) begins to smoke and steam…

now.. due south in San Diego, we hear about the ENTIRE county/city having hundreds of people calling 911 to report the smell of “burning petroleum” .

Since the hill side to the north of Los Angeles was reported to be “burning tar” from deep underground.. this leads me to believe we are seeing a very large seismic event take place on the west coast.

  1. I didn’t notice the smell yesterday, but I noticed a weirdly light yellow tinge to the fog pockets when I was driving north at about 5:20pm on the 805 to where it joins the 5… and now for the scary part…
I read a fishing report from someone surf fishing Torry Pines at the same time … directly 1 mile west of the freeway I was on…here’s what he said:

” Did anyone else see the big yellow spotches on the water and smell that kerosine like odor that was really strong? Also, we watched water spouts shooting up on the horizon for a couple hours. Looked like whales but seemed odd we could see the spouts so far out on the horizon???”

Could the “water spouts” be volcanic plumes arising from the ocean… causing the yellow tinged clouds??

    I wonder???

I was wondering how come I havn’t heard of any of this on the news? Are they keeping it hush hush for a reason? They can air news about unrest in Europe, drug busts in a different state, shootings etc. but usually when an earthquake or volcano activity happens it makes news… doesn’t really add up. Anyways I guess when the whole west coast falls in the ocean there will be an excuse as to why and everyone will be shocked/surprised that it happened.

  3. It has been reported on alternative news sites. [IMHO Most mainstream news agencies are just extensions/propaganda generators of the government. They tell you what to believe and what not to.] Dutch Sinse has posted several YouTube videos on the SoCal volcanic activity. He’s as knowledgeable as anyone on the subject.

  4. California will have an earthquake. Everyone knows that. Why the news bureaus dont report it? Becuase it OLD NEWS reporting an earthquake will occurr in California. “Old News.” Get it?

If you can predict the exact location and the date of the next major earthquake in California (and be 100% correct), now, that will be news to report.

The more people viewing your network news = more money for the owners of the network. Conspiracy theory news does not make people reach for their remote controls and turn on the tv.

“California’s going to have an earthquake” is old news. Lets encourage Dutch Sinse to predict the exact date and location of the next big earthquake. Go for it Dutch, you got the green light, everyone is behind you on this one,, even the government cotroled media and their sheeple.

  5. An earthquake in California IS old news… I’ve heard about the coming “Big One” since I was a kid. We were; however, talking about purported volcanic activity in San Diego, not earthquake predictions. I grew up in San Diego (El Cajon) and have never witnessed anything like this. Dutch Sinse was the first person I noticed report on this specific phenomenon… not just occurring in San Diego County, but in Los Angeles County, the area south of San Bernardino, etc., as well. IMHO this is unusual.

  6. Holy shit, you better get out of California. Like right now. Bug out, head to the Ozarks. If you don’t live in California start calling everyone right now.
I’ll start calling the names in in A and you start with Zs. How much does this Douchsense want us to contribute?

  7. Correct Mojo, I am a San Diego university student currently residing in Tijuana. Seismic activity is only sometimes related to volcanic activity in terms of outwardly visible and detectable phenomenae. Although I have been following the recent uptick in volcanic activity on the west coast sinnce mid July, I have not noticed any smells out of the ordinary lately.
But as I mentioned above, I do live in Tijuana, and lets face it, this is a city where the population would panic if all of a sudden the whole place DIDN’T SMELL like sulphur, sewage, crap and every other disgusting odor imagineable. Stay vigilant people.

  10. Wellllll… I am a Californian and we don’t worry about quakes (per se) but these volcanic vents are something that we (as Californians) are just hearing about- even on local mainstream news.

Yes, earthquakes ARE related to volcanic issues (check out the geyser area in CA) no one has definitely proven that one causes the other. However, that being said, I thought this was an area to respond to the video related to vents & not evacuating California.

    FYI I’m not leaving!😀

BTW Does anyone know how much does the gov’t pay for dis-information trolls these days?
