  1. A while ago I commented same thing with friends…its like a ping pong game , like the planet needs to keep adjusting to maintain balance. Hope I am wrong but looks like California, Central America and Peru are due.

    • I hear you Anni.
I live in SoCalif…and we receive 20-70 smaller earthquakes a day (1.0 to 3.0), I include North Mexico as well being that we are apart of the same area.
I was told that hundreds of smaller quakes settling is better than 1 large destructive one. Lets hope that there the large quake does not come. 🙂

  3. A lot more tremors around Eastern Europe too which is unusual as pretty much flat ground there & could be a sign that the more regular quakes around Greece & the Canary Isles are shifting the plates more now!

  4. this is a mild tremor for NZ, were used to 4.0 and up and don’t even feel most of the ones that hit, Most people need to know that the entire of NZ sits on the ring of fire and it runs the length of the islands from tip to tip of both, both islands were also the result of volcanic activity mixed with a small landmass. not a very scary thing here…

if this sort of thing occurred in dead zones then yes it would be odd, but these areas are active

  5. Ethiopia Afar region…as tectonic plates pull apart cracks are opening up.
More earthquakes, volcanic activity and a huge amount of molten rock that is only about 32kms down.

Wouldn’t like to be in this area.

  6. What happens when melted rock comes in contact with oil/coal under ground?
Will it just smolder and no one notice?
Will it cause a bomb like explosion?

I am concerned about this. Cracks are developing underneath the ocean and on land.
I would like to know how much damage the deeper quakes are doing underneath us.
Do you know what you are living on top of?

    Stay safe
