Unknown Object above Lunar Surface!

A strange unknown object above Lunar Surface!

The image is from the ‘Apollo Image Atlas’ which can be found at the site: Lunar and Planetary Institute.

UFO, extraterrestrial, man-made or it is just something natural?

  1. Not for nothing, but i’m a photographer and graphic designer, and i MUST SAY- i believe this to be something adhered to the lens of the camera. The focus and resolution on the “object in question” is sharper than the rest of the image. I’ve cleaned these “artifacts” out of my photos in photoshop many times in the past. That’s my guess about this one. Cheers!

  5. Really? I’m sure you know, for most users, the stretch for material is not pleasing. I know coming up with info for posts isn’t easy. I’ve seen this many times…a site that starts out good, developers grow tired, busy, etc, and the good site dies into a pool of AllNewsWeb. If you want to become an affiliate, it’s easy, make some money, and be done with it. I’m just saying…but it is also easy to lose readers with crappy, ‘you decided’, posts….especially with posts like this.

  6. That was taken from the Moon Ball Sphere. The object is far clearer than the rest of the moon, even on enlarging. Check out the immediate area of the s called Moon. The close up of the surface is poor in quality.
This is again one of those photographic mistakes, which will be wiped under the table.

  7. This is a reality which can be proven by the humble handphone with relevant capabilities and taken at the right time.

  8. it defnately a particle attached to the camera lense and not an object hovering above the moon,if you look at the object in relation to the moon surface details, then it clearly indicates a particle attached to the lense, depending on the orbiting parameters,it could very well be lunar dust quite high up in the moons atmosphere,or possibly originating from earth during the assembly stages and possibly un-noticed.it doesnt comply with ufo charistics

  9. The object is not above the lunar surface or the moon but seen as the above the moon though in latitude it is not.

  10. Addendum: meaning it’s like those days we on Earth see the moon right above us but in reality it is not parallel-ly above but perpendicular -ly above.
